Programs
The addiction and overdose epidemics have worsened in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Addiction Professionals of North Carolina provides a number of services that support the frontline professionals working directly with people who use drugs, people in recovery, and people working to prevent substance misuse.
Advocacy
APNC is the only North Carolina professional membership organization with a legislative voice that advocates exclusively on behalf of addiction professionals, organizations, and the communities they serve. Over the years, APNC has built strong relationships with members of the North Carolina legislature and is the trusted expert on all substance use and behavioral health policy issues. APNC fights for policies that support the workforce and improve the health and wellness of people who use drugs or who are in recovery.
