Who We Are

Addiction Professionals of North Carolina (APNC) is the professional trade association for substance use professionals and providers in North Carolina. APNC provides a collective voice for individuals, providers, and the communities they serve—advocating for effective policies, offering technical assistance, and fostering collaboration across the behavioral health system.

Through our four statewide centers—the Prevention Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Center, the North Carolina Higher Education Consortium (NCHEC), the Center of Excellence for Gambling Addiction Policy and Practice (CEGAPP), and the Professional Development Center (PDC) —we strengthen the capacity and connection of the behavioral health workforce. Together, these initiatives provide education, advocacy, and innovative programs that improve access, quality, and outcomes for individuals, families, and communities across North Carolina.
