We’re excited to invite you to the North Carolina Higher Education Consortium’s (NCHEC) Collegiate Substance Use Summit, hosted in partnership with the North Carolina Higher Education Wellness and Alcohol and Other Drug Coalition (NCHEW). This free, one-day event brings together leaders in the collegiate alcohol and other drug field to collaborate, strategize, and share their experiences!
This Year’s Focus: The Power of Peer Education
As the higher education landscape evolves, so do the roles of peer educators! Students are at the forefront of change, serving as crucial support systems for their peers in substance use prevention and recovery work. This summit is designed to equip you with tools to:
✅ Strengthen peer education programs with practical training strategies
✅ Expand your knowledge of how to incorporate peer educators in substance use prevention and recovery initiatives
✅ Build connections with higher education professionals from across North Carolina
