Hepatitis C Primer

This talk aims to explore the landscape of hepatitis C in the United States. The hepatitis C epidemic has steadily increased in populations who inject drugs over the last several years. Novel strategies to address hepatitis C in this population are needed to make a meaningful impact on hepatitis C-related individual and public health. In this lecture, we will discuss hepatitis C epidemiology, testing strategies, data supporting treatment in people who use drugs, and linkage to care after hepatitis C diagnosis.
